Change Region Procedure:

0. Your Device in the Standby.
1. Press 7
2. Press 8
SEE: [ REGION X ] or Nothing

[On the TV Screen You see Firmware version
[include FMU-DVD module version]
If No, choice DVD regime or insert DVD disc]

[Version of the DVD = 0083]
3. Press 9
SEE: - - - -

4. Input Password for Model, 4 digits.
for Example: 1234.
4038 for Car Audio KD-DV4200.

and YOU See "REGION -"

5. Press B [or 3B/$3B]
6. Press C [or 3C/$3C]
7. Press D [or 3D/$3D]
8. Press Number of Region 0-6. 0-7 for some Car Audio.
[ 0 - for Region Free. ]

P.S.
for Car Audio (with DVD) press B/C/D/0 very quick!
Or may be use MACROS.

Password or Code for your Model[4 - digits PIN CODE]:
Three ways.

1. If you input any digits and see on LCD all 4 digits,
and next you see "REGION -" message,
your model with any Model Code.
Go to step 5 of "Change Region Procedure".

2. You see less 4 entry digits after input any digits.
Look on the basic page: "Algorithm for Model Code".

3. Your Device go to standby after each bad digit.
Simple Matching. 1-2 minute for right code.

Example For Philips Universal Remote Control:

STEP 1:

PRESS KEY "SELECT" AND CHOICE "CD"

STEP 2:

PRESS AND HOLD KEY "1" AND "3"
"CD" LED FLASH THRICE
ENTER NUMBER 0099
"CD" LED FLASH TWICE
JVC CD DEVICE WAS SELECTED. SET OK

STEP 3

PRESS AND HOLD KEY "1" AND "6"
"CD" LED FLASH THRICE
ENTER NUMBER 994
"CD" LED FLASH TWICE
ENTER NUMBER 00149 FOR KEY "0"
PRESS KEY "0"
"CD" LED FLASH TWICE
KEY "0" WAS PROGRAMMED. SET OK

PLEASE REPEAT STEP 3 FOR ALL KEYS: 1, 2, ... 9, B, C, D.
FOR B, C, D KEYS PLEASE SELECT ANY KEYS
ON THE REMOTE.

B = BACK(INSTALL), CODE 00027
C = PLAY, CODE 00020
D = FORWARD(STORE), CODE 00024
